adoption Process
Welcoming a North Coast Goldendoodle into your life is a joyful and thoughtful journey. Here’s how the process works, step by step:
1. Join the Waitlist
Once we confirm a pregnancy, we open our waitlist. Spots are limited and fill quickly. To join:
✔️ Fill out our Puppy Application Form
✔️ Submit a $300 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot (goes toward final price)
2. Puppies Arrive!
Sadie’s puppies are due late April, and we’ll keep all future families updated with birth announcements, photos, and milestones via email and Instagram. 🐾
3. Puppy Picks (Around 6 Weeks)
We allow families to select their puppies around 6 weeks of age, once personalities and traits begin to shine. Picks are done in the order of deposits received, with our guidance based on temperament and lifestyle fit.
4. Vet Check & Go-Home Prep (Week 7-8)
All puppies will:
Visit a licensed veterinarian for a full health check
Receive age-appropriate vaccinations & deworming
Be microchipped
Go home with a puppy care kit: food sample, blanket with mama’s scent, toy, vet record, and a go-home guide
5. Go-Home Day (Week 8)
Your puppy will be ready for pickup at 8 weeks old. We’ll schedule your Go-Home Day in advance so you’re fully prepared. Final payment is due at this time.
6. Lifelong Support
We’re here for the long haul. Whether it’s food questions, training tips, or just cute updates—we love staying connected with our puppy families! ❤️
📌 Important Notes:
Puppies are sold on a strict spay/neuter agreement unless breeding rights are granted.
We do not ship puppies, but we’re happy to coordinate with ground transport or meet at a local airport.
If at any time you cannot care for your pup, we require they be returned to us. We will always take our puppies back.
